- Stunning 1930s black velvet maxi dress with an illusion neckline
- Pure Art Deco glamour with a high ruffled collar, mermaid silhouette and bell sleeves
- The fishnet neckline is embellished with floral arabesques delicately cut from the same velvet as the dress
- Ruffled shoulders add even more drama
- Matching velvet belt with rhinestone buckle
- Bias cut through the body
- Side snap placket and snap placket in one shoulder seam for ease

- Very good condition with no damage, staining or alterations. Gentle foxing to the velvet as to be expected of a 90 year old dress. A few minor mends by a previous owner and a few tiny breaks in the fishnet, mostly on the back of the bodice. The dress has been fully restored and the fishnet backed with very fine tulle to strengthen and preserve it. Clean and ready to wear
